The BlueOptics MCF48-BO InfiniBand/fibre optic cable 20 m SFP28 Aqua is a 20-metre active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 male-to-male connectors designed for high-speed short-reach links. It implements 25GBASE-SR4 optical signalling over multimode fiber and provides bidirectional optical transceivers integrated at both ends. The pre-assembled AOC delivers a plug-and-play fibre connection suitable for switches, routers and storage systems that accept SFP28 optics and compatible Dell MCF48 interfaces.

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 ports on your switches, routers or servers until the module latches. Ensure the host ports accept third-party or compatible AOCs and that any required software or firmware settings permit SFP28 modules. If your hardware supports DDM/DOM, use the host management interface to monitor optical parameters such as transmit and receive power, temperature and supply voltage. Avoid bending the cable beyond the recommended bend radius and keep connectors free of dust before insertion.
