Black Diamond Kids Momentum Climbing Shoes - Pewter, Size 33

The Black Diamond Kids Momentum Climbing Shoes give young climbers a real performance edge without sacrificing comfort. Unlike scaled-down adult shoes that feel stiff and unforgiving, this model uses an engineered knit upper and a soft-flex midsole to match the flexibility and sensitivity that growing feet need. The flat, neutral last and symmetrical shape keep the foot in a natural position, while the hook-and-loop closure with two straps makes it easy for kids to get the shoes on and off by themselves. From first steps on the bouldering wall to longer sessions on indoor routes, the Momentum helps build confidence with every move.

Highlights

• Engineered knit upper offers breathability and a sock-like fit
• 4.3mm Neo Fuse rubber sole delivers durable grip on footholds and volumes
• Soft-flex midsole balances support with sensitivity for developing technique
• Two hook-and-loop straps allow quick, secure adjustment
• Flat, symmetrical last promotes all-day comfort for growing feet
• Unlined interior keeps the shoe lightweight and fast-drying

In daily use

Kids will appreciate how easy the Momentum is to put on: just open the two Velcro straps, slide the foot in, and press down. The knit upper stretches slightly to accommodate different foot shapes, while the padded collar and heel reduce pressure points. On the wall, the Neo Fuse rubber sticks confidently to plastic holds and gym textures, and the soft-flex midsole lets young climbers feel the footholds without tiring their feet. After the session, the breathable knit helps moisture escape, so the shoes stay fresher for the next climb.
