Beal Opera 8.5 mm 50 m Unicore Dry Cover Climbing Rope - Green

The Beal Opera 8.5 mm rope is a triple-certified climbing rope (single, half, twin) designed for alpinism, ice climbing, and technical mountaineering. With a diameter of 8.5 mm and a length of 50 meters, it offers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio. The Unicore technology bonds the sheath and core, virtually eliminating sheath slippage and enhancing safety. The Dry Cover treatment provides water repellency and abrasion resistance, making it ideal for wet or abrasive conditions. The Thermofluid process ensures the rope remains supple and easy to handle even after repeated use.

Advantages

Triple certification allows versatile use as single, half, or twin rope. Unicore technology prevents sheath slippage for increased durability and safety. Dry Cover treatment repels water and resists abrasion, extending rope life. Thermofluid process maintains flexibility and handling. Lightweight at 48 g/m, reducing carry weight.
