Basket rack AWTools 1043223 — durable steel construction, open storage basket for shelving

AWTools rack basket model 1043223 is an open storage basket engineered for use with shelving and rack systems. Constructed from durable steel, the basket provides a robust solution for storing tools, spare parts and other loose items while keeping contents visible and easily accessible on workshop, garage or warehouse shelving.

Advantages

The steel construction delivers long-term mechanical strength and resistance to everyday wear. Its open design enables quick visual identification of contents and ventilation to reduce dust buildup. The unit is compatible with common shelving layouts and allows flexible positioning and retrieval of frequently used items without the need for additional enclosures or lids.

Suitable for

• Organising hand tools and small power tools on workshop shelves
• Sorting spare parts, fittings and fasteners in service areas
• Storing consumables and small boxes in garage or warehouse racks
• Temporary placement of items during assembly or maintenance tasks

Key specifications

• Material: steel construction for structural durability
• Design: open basket for visibility and ventilation
• Compatibility: intended for use with shelving and rack systems
• Function: free-standing or shelf-mounted storage for loose items

How to use

Place the AWTools rack basket onto a compatible shelf or rack level so that it sits securely and does not overhang. Arrange tools, parts or consumables inside the basket ensuring even weight distribution to maintain stability. For frequent access, position the basket at an ergonomic height on the shelving. When moving the basket while loaded, lift from the structural frame rather than the wire mesh to avoid deformation.

Recommendations

For long service life, avoid exposing the basket to concentrated chemical spills or prolonged outdoor exposure. Distribute heavy items across multiple baskets or shelf levels to prevent overloading a single unit. Periodically inspect welds and mounting points for signs of wear or deformation and clean with a damp cloth to remove dust and debris.
