Radiator ASTAR DABEL-40A 480 mm — 480 mm black water-cooling radiator

ASTAR DABEL-40A 480 mm is a 480 mm water-cooling radiator intended for PC liquid-cooling loops. Finished in black, it provides an extended cooling surface and internal coolant channels that transfer heat from coolant to ambient air. The radiator is designed for multi-fan mounting in larger cases or racks and supports thermal management for CPUs and GPUs in custom or DIY high-performance PC builds.

Advantages

The radiator combines a 480 mm length with a fin-and-tube structure to increase heat dissipation area while maintaining compatibility with standard 120 mm fan mounts. A black finish reduces visible reflections and integrates with common case color schemes. The unit is built to offer reliable coolant flow and even heat exchange across its core, enabling lower coolant temperatures under sustained loads. Its form factor facilitates installation in systems that require multiple fans or push/pull configurations.

Suitable for

• Custom PC liquid-cooling loops for high-performance CPUs
• GPU cooling in multi-component water-cooling systems
• Multi-fan push/pull radiator configurations in large cases or server racks
• Custom or DIY builds requiring extended radiator surface area

Key specifications

• Length: 480 mm radiator core designed for three 120 mm fans in-line
• Finish: black-coated exterior for reduced glare and consistent appearance
• Compatibility: designed for standard 120 mm fan mounting and common cooling fittings
• Application: liquid-cooling radiator for CPU and GPU thermal management
• Construction: fin-and-tube core providing coolant channels and fin surface for heat transfer

How to use

Install the radiator in a suitable location inside the PC case or rack that supports a 480 mm radiator, aligning the fan mounting holes with available fan positions. Attach compatible 120 mm fans in the desired orientation (push, pull or push/pull) and secure with appropriate screws. Connect inlet and outlet ports to the cooling loop with compatible fittings and tubing, ensuring tight, leak-free connections. Fill the loop with appropriate coolant, bleed air from the system, and verify flow and temperature stability before running under load.

Recommendations

Use high-quality, compatible fittings and corrosion-inhibiting coolant. Maintain regular system checks for leaks, dust accumulation on fins, and fan operation to preserve cooling efficiency. When installing multiple fans, consider push/pull configurations for improved airflow and temperature performance.
