Backpack DEUTER Aircontact Ultra 45+5 SL lightweight durable women's fit

The DEUTER Aircontact Ultra 45+5 SL lightweight durable women's fit is a multi-day trekking backpack engineered for a balance of low weight and reliable durability. With a 45+5 litre capacity in a women's-specific SL cut, the pack provides structured storage, ergonomic shoulder straps and a contoured hip belt to distribute load comfortably over long distances. Design details target organized access to gear and stable load-carrying performance on varied terrain while keeping overall weight down for extended hikes.

Advantages

This backpack combines a high capacity with a lightweight construction and a shape tailored to a female anatomical fit. The load-carrying system is designed to stabilize heavy loads and reduce strain on shoulders and back. Durable materials at stress points improve abrasion resistance without significantly increasing pack weight, and multiple compartments allow neat separation of clothing, sleeping system and equipment for easy retrieval during multi-day trips.

Suitable for

• Multi-day trekking and backpacking trips
• Summer and shoulder-season hiking with overnight gear
• Lightweight tourers who need organized storage and load support
• Outdoor trips on mixed terrain requiring durable construction

Key specifications

• Capacity: approximately 45 litres main volume with 5 litres expandable top lid
• Fit: SL (women's) cut with contoured back and shoulder geometry
• Materials: lightweight, abrasion-resistant fabrics at critical points
• Carrying system: ergonomic shoulder straps and supportive hip belt for load transfer
• Organization: multiple compartments and attachment points for gear access
• Adjustment: torso and load adjustments to tune fit and center of gravity

How to use

Pack heavier items close to the back and centered over the hip belt to maintain balance and reduce fatigue. Use internal compartments for sleeping systems and clothing, and place frequently needed items in the top lid or accessible pockets. Adjust the hip belt snugly on the pelvis, then tighten the shoulder straps and load lifters to position the pack’s weight over the hips. Fine-tune torso length and sternum strap for comfort and stability before starting a long hike.

Recommendations

For best performance, periodically check and re-tighten suspension adjustments during long ascents or descents, avoid overloading beyond recommended capacity, and protect the pack from prolonged exposure to abrasive surfaces and sharp objects to preserve fabric integrity and zipper function.
