Active USB-C -> DisplayPort cable - adapter AXAGON RVC-DPC for connecting a DisplayPort monitor/TV/projector to a notebook or mobile phone using USB type C connector.

The cable is only oneway, i.e. USB-C to DP, not otherwise . A USB-C port with DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) support of a device with Thunderbolt 3 port is required for the cable to function properly.

How to use

Connect the USB-C (male) end to a device that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode. Insert the DisplayPort (male) connector with latch into the monitor, TV or projector until the latch engages; use the latch control button to release the connector. Set the display mode on the source device to mirror or extend the desktop as required. No drivers are typically needed; if the image does not appear, verify that the source device supports DP Alt Mode and that display settings and cables are correctly connected.

Recommendations

Use the AXAGON RVC-DPC with devices that explicitly support DisplayPort Alternate Mode over USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 with DP Alt Mode. Check monitor and graphics adapter specifications to confirm supported resolutions. Avoid excessive bending of the cable near the connectors and operate the adapter within the specified temperature range.
