A compact AXAGON ADSA-1S6 SLIMport6 high-speed adapter with USB 3.0 and SATA 6G interface intended for easy connection of SSD or 2.5" SATA disk.

A handy tool to quickly connect a SSD or laptop disk, including boot support.

The UASP support significantly increases transmission rates especially when working with small files in the queue.

How to use

Insert the 2.5" SATA drive into the adapter, place the assembly into the supplied plastic case if desired, connect the USB cable to the adapter and then to a computer USB port. The device is plug-and-play: the operating system installs required drivers automatically. For hot-plug use, connect or disconnect the adapter while the system is running; when not accessing the drive the adapter will spin down the disk automatically according to the timeout.

Recommendations

For stable power delivery use a single USB 3.0 port that can supply up to 900 mA. Use the included foam pads with 7 mm drives to ensure a secure fit inside the case and store the adapter and cable in the case when transporting.
