Audio cable Bachmann 918.011 2.5m 3.5mm Black

The Bachmann 918.011 audio cable is a 2.5m black interconnect with male 3.5mm plugs on both ends designed for analog stereo signal transfer. It provides a straightforward solution for linking smartphones, tablets, laptops and other devices with 3.5mm jacks to speakers, headphones, car stereos or audio inputs on home equipment. The cable's length and standard connectors make it suitable for everyday audio connections where a reliable wired link is required.

Advantages

The cable offers a 2.5 meter reach that balances flexibility and manageable cable routing without introducing unnecessary slack. Standard 3.5mm male connectors on both ends ensure broad compatibility with most consumer audio devices. The black outer jacket provides a neutral appearance that blends with home and mobile setups, while the construction is intended to maintain consistent analog audio transmission for left and right channels.

Suitable for

• Connecting smartphones or tablets to active speakers
• Linking laptops to external audio inputs or car AUX ports
• Connecting portable music players to headphones with a 3.5mm input
• Temporary or fixed wired connections in home audio setups

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2.5 m
• Connectors: 3.5mm male — both ends
• Signal type: Analog stereo (left and right channels)
• Colour: Black

How to use

Insert one 3.5mm male plug into the audio output of the source device and the other plug into the audio input of the receiving device. Ensure both connectors are fully seated to avoid intermittent contact or channel imbalance. Adjust volume levels on source and destination devices before playback to prevent sudden loud audio. When disconnecting, grip the connector housing rather than pulling the cable to avoid stress on the cable terminations.

Recommendations

For best performance, route the cable away from power cords and sources of electromagnetic interference and avoid sharp bends near the connectors. Store coiled loosely to preserve the cable shape and inspect connector ends periodically to ensure clean contact surfaces.
