Aqua-Computer Flow sensor high flow LT is a compact, black G1/4 flow sensor designed for liquid cooling and fluid monitoring in PC water loops and other small fluid systems. The sensor measures 51×42×30 mm and features a G1/4 threaded connection compatible with common fittings. Coolant drives an internal rotor; a contactless magnetic sensor registers rotation speed and converts it into a reliable flow reading. The device is supplied with one connection cable, two screws with spacers and mounting hardware for straightforward installation.

Advantages

The sensor provides a wide measurable range from approximately 40 l/h to 1000 l/h, allowing accurate monitoring across low to high flow regimes. Symmetrical internal construction makes flow direction irrelevant and allows installation in any orientation. Its calibrated rotor bearing play reduces operational noise, while the low hydraulic resistance supports high-flow cooling loops. The G1/4 thread ensures compatibility with a broad range of fittings and tube dimensions.

Suitable for

  • Monitoring coolant flow in PC water cooling loops
  • Fluid flow monitoring in compact cooling systems and test rigs
  • Integration into custom liquid cooling builds and high-flow setups

Key specifications

  • Dimensions: 51 × 42 × 30 mm
  • Connection: G1/4 threaded port
  • Flow measurement range: ~40 l/h to 1000 l/h (approx. 10–260 US gal/h)
  • Construction: symmetrical internal design; rotor/impeller with contactless magnetic sensor
  • Orientation: installation possible in any orientation; flow direction irrelevant
  • Hydraulic characteristic: low flow resistance suitable for high-flow systems
  • Delivery contents: one connection cable, two screws with spacers, mounting hardware

How to use

Install the sensor in the coolant line using G1/4 fittings and the supplied screws and spacers. Connect the provided cable to the corresponding input on your monitoring or control device according to the device documentation. Ensure the sensor is sealed with appropriate thread sealant or Teflon tape if required by your fittings. After installation, start the cooling loop and verify flow readings in your monitoring software or controller. Perform a leak check and confirm the measured flow falls within expected values for your loop.

Recommendations

For stable and accurate readings, install the sensor in a section of the loop with steady flow and avoid placing it immediately adjacent to pumps or abrupt directional fittings. Regularly inspect for debris and ensure coolant is compatible with the sensor materials. Use the sensor within the specified flow range for optimal performance.
