Apple Magic Keyboard for iPad Air 13-inch M3 Wireless Black QWERTY

Magic Keyboard is the companion keyboard and protective cover for the iPad Air 13-inch. It combines a compact, floating cantilever design with a large glass trackpad and a precision scissor‑mechanism keyboard to provide a laptop‑style typing and navigation experience while preserving the iPad’s portability and protection.

Advantages

The Magic Keyboard offers smooth adjustability with a cantilever hinge that supports multiple viewing angles and a large glass trackpad that supports Multi‑Touch gestures and the iPadOS cursor. A 14‑key function row gives quick access to screen brightness, volume and other controls, while the USB‑C connector enables pass‑through charging so the iPad’s port remains free for accessories. The keyboard folds into a slim case to protect both the front and back of the iPad Air.

Use the keyboard for typing and the trackpad for pointer control and gesture navigation in iPadOS. Connect a USB‑C cable to the keyboard’s USB‑C port to charge the iPad through the keyboard while keeping the iPad’s port available for other accessories. Fold the keyboard closed to protect the iPad when transporting.

Recommendations

For best performance, ensure your iPad Air is running a compatible iPadOS version and keep the Magic Keyboard firmware up to date. Clean the trackpad with a soft, lint‑free cloth and avoid liquids. When storing or transporting, fold the keyboard into its cover to protect the screen and back surface.
