How to use

Inspect the filter and mask before each use to ensure proper condition and compatibility. Attach the filter to the appropriate 3M 6000 or 7000 series mask according to the mask manufacturer’s instructions. If particulate protection is required, fit compatible 2000 or 5000 series particulate filters in combination as specified by 3M. Replace the filter when breathing becomes difficult, if the filter is damaged, or according to workplace exposure limits and safety procedures.

Recommendations

Store filters in a dry, clean place away from contaminants and direct sunlight. Do not use this gas filter for oxygen-deficient atmospheres. Follow local regulations and 3M guidance for respirator selection, fit testing and maintenance.
