Before you believe a bad review about us

We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.
  • We are part of the ITwork group — ten years trading in Europe, nine stores, thousands of positive reviews.
  • Johannesburg and Cape Town stores open this year — real shelves, real stock, walk in and buy the same day.

We are not satisfied with our review scores, and we are not going to fix them by hiding anything. We are fixing them by being faster, clearer and easier to reach than any reason to complain.

Read the full letter — photos and video of real shipments, and a straight answer to every accusation.

The ADATA UV150 USB Flash Drive 512GB combines a classic, minimalist appearance with a pearlescent finish and USB 3.2 Gen 1 (SuperSpeed) performance. Available in scarlet and onyx (red and black), the compact Type-A drive offers up to 100 MB/s read speed, a snap-on cap that fits on the rear for safe storage, and a broad lanyard slot for easy carrying. It weighs approximately 9 g and provides large-capacity, portable storage for everyday file transfer needs.

Advantages

The UV150 delivers SuperSpeed USB 3.2 Gen 1 performance at a budget-friendly price, making faster transfers accessible without premium cost. Its snap-on cap prevents loss by securing to the rear of the drive, while the glossy, pearlescent exterior provides a modern look. The wide lanyard slot increases portability by accommodating a variety of straps.

Suitable for

  • Transferring and storing large files such as photos, videos and documents
  • Portable backup and file carrying between home, office and school
  • Users who need a compact, lightweight USB Type-A flash drive (9 g)

Key specifications

  • Capacity: 512 GB
  • Interface: USB 3.2 Gen 1 (SuperSpeed), USB Type-A
  • Read speed: up to 100 MB/s
  • Weight: 0.009 kg
  • Colours: Black (Onyx), Red (Scarlet)
  • Model / MPN: AUV150-512G-RBK
  • EAN: 4711085944177

How to use

Remove the snap-on cap and insert the USB Type-A connector into a compatible port on your computer or other device. The drive is plug-and-play on most operating systems; wait for the system to recognise the device, then copy or move files as required. After use, safely eject the drive via the operating system before removing it and replace the cap by snapping it onto the rear to keep it secure while carrying.

Recommendations

Store important data backups in at least one additional location. For best performance, connect the UV150 to a USB 3.2 Gen 1 (or compatible SuperSpeed) port; when used with USB 2.0 ports, transfer speeds will be lower. Avoid exposing the drive to prolonged moisture or extreme temperatures.
