The InLine® HDMI to DisplayPort converter cable enables a reliable connection from HDMI signal sources such as PCs or notebooks to monitors with a DisplayPort input. The integrated active chipset converts the HDMI signal electronically so that even high-resolution content in 4K at 60 Hz can be transmitted smoothly and in great detail. An additional voltage of 5V/500mA is required on the HDMI side for the power supply. A short USB cable (USB-C with adapter to USB-A) is included for this purpose, which can be flexibly connected to USB ports. How to use

Connect the HDMI plug of the InLine 17164I to the HDMI output of your source device. Plug the DisplayPort connector into the DisplayPort input of your monitor. Provide USB power (5V / 500mA) to the converter from a USB power source on the HDMI side to enable electronic signal conversion. After connections and power are provided, set the monitor input to DisplayPort and adjust display settings from the source device if necessary.

Recommendations

Use a stable 5V/500mA USB power source and avoid excessive bending of the cable. For the best image quality at 3840 x 2160, ensure your source device supports 4K output over HDMI and set the output resolution and refresh rate appropriately.
