Active Speaker Set Omnitronic ALP-5A with 5-inch woofer, 100W power

Omnitronic ALP-5A is an active speaker set with a 5-inch woofer and a total rated power of 100W designed for compact, powered sound in small venues, events and home studios. The set integrates amplification and speaker components to provide straightforward setup and immediate use without external amplifiers. Its size and front-facing controls make it appropriate for speech reinforcement, background music and nearfield monitoring where modest SPL and clarity are required.

Advantages

The integrated amplifier and speaker design simplifies installation and reduces cable and equipment needs while delivering consistent performance at moderate sound pressure levels. A 5-inch woofer balances low-frequency response with compact cabinet dimensions, enabling portability and convenient placement. Built-in inputs and controls allow rapid configuration for different sources and easy volume matching between channels.

How to use

Position the speakers on stable stands or surfaces, maintaining clear space around the front baffle for unobstructed sound radiation. Connect audio sources using the available input connectors, set input levels low initially, and increase gain gradually while monitoring for distortion. For stereo monitoring, place the speakers symmetrically around the listening position at ear height where possible. Power the set via the supplied mains connection and observe correct mains voltage and fuse ratings.

Recommendations

For optimal clarity, avoid placing speakers directly against walls or in corners; allow some distance to reduce bass buildup. Use the speakers at moderate volume to maintain driver longevity and reduce the risk of overheating. When used as monitors, position them to form an equilateral triangle with the listening position to improve imaging and balance.
