8-channel microphone preamp Audient ASP880 24-bit 96kHz, rack-mountable

The Audient ASP880 8-channel microphone preamp provides eight independent mic preamplifiers with high-quality 24-bit / 96 kHz conversion in a single rack-mountable unit. Designed for studio and live recording environments, this device offers straightforward gain staging and routing to capture multiple simultaneous sources such as vocals, acoustic instruments and room microphones. Compact and built for integration with existing audio rigs, the ASP880 is suitable for multitrack tracking, band sessions and podcast production where consistent preamplification and transparent signal conversion are required.

Advantages

The ASP880 delivers transparent microphone amplification with low noise and stable gain controls across eight channels. Its 24-bit/96 kHz converters ensure accurate digital capture of audio dynamics and timbre. Rack-mountable construction and consistent channel layout simplify installation in studio racks and live racks alike, while individual controls per channel offer direct tactile operation without relying on external software. The unit’s neutral tonal character supports a wide range of microphones and musical styles.
