The KWB 819828 scouring pad (230 x 150 mm) is an abrasive pad bonded with phenolic resin and coated with aluminium oxide. It is intended for use with orbital sanders equipped with an extraction system and clamping device, or with manual grinding tools that have a clamping device. The open-pored structure reduces clogging and supports consistent surface results on wood, metal and varnish.

How to use

Attach the scouring pad to an orbital sander with the appropriate clamping device and connect the extraction system if available. For manual sanding, fix the pad in a compatible clamping holder. Apply even pressure and move the pad with the grain on wood or in consistent passes on metal and varnish until the desired surface appearance is achieved. Replace the pad when abrasive performance declines.

Use suitable personal protective equipment (dust mask, eye protection and gloves). Test on a small inconspicuous area before full application. Match pad speed and pressure to the material to avoid over-sanding; use dust extraction when working with wood or painted surfaces.
