How to use

Prepare the ML04 by placing it on a stable surface and unlocking the aluminum front door to access drive bays and the front panel. Install a compatible Mini-ITX, Mini-DTX or Micro ATX motherboard and route power and data cables through the case to the drive cages. Mount 3.5" or 2.5" drives into the multipurpose cages without adapters, secure a standard ATX power supply in the designated compartment, and attach low-profile expansion cards if required. Connect front USB 3.0 ports to the motherboard header and arrange 80 mm fans in available positions for optimal airflow. Close and lock the front door once components and cabling are finalized.

Recommendations

For balanced cooling and quiet operation in a home theater environment, populate fan positions to create a modest airflow path (intake at front or side and exhaust at rear) and use low-noise 80 mm fans. Use the adjustable LED dimmer to match ambient lighting, and secure the front door when the system is unattended to protect drives. Choose a compact motherboard and low-profile expansion cards to ensure proper clearance; verify power supply compatibility before installation.
