Uninterruptible Power Supply UPS ONLINE USV-Systeme XANTO 700

The ONLINE USV-Systeme XANTO 700 is a double-conversion uninterruptible power supply (UPS) delivering 0.7 kVA (700 W) of output power. Designed as a tower unit with active cooling, four C13 AC outlets and a 9 Ah battery, it provides typical backup time of about 10 minutes at full load. The UPS implements online double-conversion technology to isolate connected equipment from mains disturbances, and complies with VFI-SS-111, EN62040-1, EN62040-2 and CE certifications.

How to use

Install the UPS in upright tower orientation or convert to the 2U rack-tower format using the supplied 19" mounting angle and rotate the display without tools if required. Connect critical equipment to the C13 outlets and attach the UPS to the mains supply. Configure the battery deep-discharge protection and other parameters via the onboard menu or DataWatch software. For extended runtimes, connect approved external battery packs (model 1000 and higher supports up to seven additional packs) and verify autonomy times under expected loads.

Recommendations

Use the included DataWatch software and, when protecting multiple servers, the RCCMD agent or optional SNMP adapter for orderly shutdown and remote management. Regularly test the battery and runtime under load and consider external battery packs when longer backup is required.
