Epson SureColor SC-P20500 large format printer Inkjet Colour 2400 x 1200 DPI Ethernet LAN

Epson SureColor SC-P20500 is a large-format inkjet printer engineered for high-resolution colour output up to 2400 x 1200 DPI. Designed for photo production, proofing and poster printing, the 64-inch (roll-feed) device supports A0–A4 and B0–B4 sizes with continuous roll media handling. The printer integrates PostScript 3 page description support, a 4.3" LCD control panel and Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000 Mbit/s) connectivity to fit professional workflows. Key imaging features include a wide colour gamut, Epson's Bulk Ink Solution and Black Enhance Overcoat for improved black density and contrast.

Advantages

The SC-P20500 delivers consistent high-resolution prints at up to 2400 x 1200 DPI while maintaining production speeds suitable for commercial photo labs and sign shops. Its roll feed and wide-format capacity allow uninterrupted long-run printing of posters and indoor signage. Networked Gigabit Ethernet and PostScript 3 support simplify integration into existing print pipelines and RIP software. The Bulk Ink Solution reduces media and ink handling frequency for extended print runs and lower operating interruptions.

Suitable for

• Fine art and photographic prints requiring high detail and wide colour gamut
• Proofing and contract colour work in prepress environments

Monitor ink levels through the printer interface and plan replacements to avoid interruptions during long runs.

Recommendations

Use certified or ICC-profiled media for accurate colour reproduction and employ the recommended colour management workflow when performing proofing tasks. Place the printer in an environment with stable temperature and humidity to ensure consistent image quality. For high-volume production, schedule regular maintenance checks and use the Bulk Ink Solution to reduce downtime between ink changes.
