Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Kitten dry is a complete dietetic feed formulated for kittens from weaning to adulthood and for gestating or lactating queens. The recipe is intended to support digestive function and nutritional recovery in cases of acute or chronic diarrhoea, gastritis, inflammatory bowel disease, colitis, maldigestion/malabsorption, or anorexia and during re-feeding after surgery. The formula uses highly digestible ingredients, an increased level of electrolytes and a high concentration of essential nutrients in a high energy density kibble to help restore and maintain body condition.

Advantages

This diet provides highly digestible proteins selected for very high digestibility (L.I.P.), elevated energy density and added electrolytes to support rapid nutritional restoration. It includes sources of soluble fibre (psyllium husks and seeds) and functional oligosaccharides (fructo-oligosaccharides, hydrolysed yeast as a source of mannan-oligosaccharides and beta-glucans) to help support intestinal environment and stool quality. The formulation also contains fish oil, vitamins and trace elements to cover nutritional requirements during recovery.

How to use

Use this product under veterinary advice. Feed Gastrointestinal Kitten dry for 1 to 2 weeks during and following acute diarrhoea until clinical recovery is achieved.
