How to use

Install the external battery pack in a compatible UPS setup either in rack or tower orientation according to the UPS and battery pack installation instructions. Connect the module to the UPS using the manufacturer-provided cable and, if needed, link up to three additional battery modules to extend runtime (maximum of four modules total). When replacing batteries, use the hot-swap procedure so the UPS continues to supply connected equipment without interruption. Use the cold start feature when starting the UPS from battery power only.
