The CyberPower OL5KERTHD is a 5 kVA / 5000 W double-conversion online UPS designed to provide continuous, high-quality power for IT equipment, servers, workstations, NAS/storage, telecom and networking devices, as well as security and surveillance systems. The unit features a rackmount/tower black metal chassis, sealed lead-acid batteries (12 V, 6 Ah), six AC outlets (C13, C19, Terminal) and compatibility with external Extended Battery Modules (EBM) to extend runtime. How to use

Install the UPS in a rack or place it on a stable surface in tower configuration, ensuring adequate ventilation and ambient temperature within the manufacturer’s recommended range. Connect critical devices to the UPS AC outlets (C13, C19, Terminal) and attach the UPS to a grounded mains supply. If extended runtime is required, connect compatible Extended Battery Modules (EBM) according to the installation guide. Use the tiltable color LCD to view real-time status and alerts, and install PowerPanel® software on a management workstation for configuration, scheduled shutdowns and remote monitoring via the USB port.

Recommendations

For optimal battery lifespan and reliable operation, perform periodic battery self-tests, replace hot-swappable battery packs before end-of-life, keep firmware and PowerPanel® software updated, and ensure the UPS is connected to a stable mains or generator source when used in generator-compatible mode.
