The solvent-free STANGER Textile adhesive is a high temperature-resistant, quick-drying liquid glue designed for precise and clean bonding of seams and surfaces. It bonds many textiles quickly, safely and permanently regardless of fabric thickness, including cotton and canvas. The product comes in a 50 g bottle with a dispenser and dries clear and flexible after curing.

Advantages

This textile adhesive is solvent-free, resists high temperatures, and dries quickly to a transparent, flexible joint. It bonds a wide range of fabrics such as cotton and canvas, works with different thicknesses, and reaches final strength after heat activation by ironing. The small 50 g dispenser bottle allows controlled application and neat results.

Suitable for

  • Repairing seams and hems on clothing
  • Bonding canvas, cotton and other textiles
  • Small textile craft and DIY projects
  • Joining fabrics where sewing is difficult or not desired

Key specifications

  • Brand: Stanger
  • Model / MPN: 18023/1 (180231)
  • Net weight: 50 g
  • Type: Solvent-free textile adhesive, liquid
  • Properties: High temperature resistant, quick drying, dries transparent and flexible
  • Washable after final activation: up to 60°C

How to use

Ensure surfaces are clean, free of grease, oil and silicone. New fabrics should be washed at least once before bonding. Apply the adhesive sparingly to one side of the material and press the parts together; for highly absorbent textiles apply adhesive to both sides. Press the glued area firmly. After approximately 4 hours drying time the glue becomes transparent and flexible. Activate the bond by ironing both sides of the joint at the highest suitable iron setting for the fabric; follow the fabric care instructions. Only after ironing does the bond reach its final strength and can be washed at up to 60°C. Wait at least 24 hours after ironing before the first wash.

Recommendations

Work in a well-ventilated area, test on a scrap piece of fabric before use, and avoid contact with skin and eyes. Store the bottle tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources.
